In keeping with the name change adopted in May, the BEST logo has been redesigned to reflect the two facets of the organization that has evolved over some 20 years of working together to help maintain and improve the quality of the St. Andrew Bay watershed.

BEST, Inc., a Florida 501(c)(3)non-profit corporation, sets policy, raises funds, approves and oversees projects undertaken in keeping with the organization's mission. The Friends of St Andrew Bay, formerly referred to simply as BEST, is the volunteer organization that implements projects once they are approved and funded by the corporation.

All of the members of BEST, Inc. are also Friends of St. Andrew Bay (FSAB) volunteers, actively working on projects undertaken by the organization. Projects are proposed through the FSAB Steering Committee to BEST, Inc. Anyone with an interest in the St. Andrew Bay ecosystem can present a project to the FSAB Steering Committee for their consideration.
